Brincar fora de portas e as conceções das crianças sobre o seu "recreio ideal"

Abstract

O presente relatório perspetiva o percurso formativo e investigativo realizado no âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar. Divide-se em duas partes, uma primeira, referente à prática desenvolvida e vivências na Creche e no Jardim de Infância e outra relativa a componente investigativa. O estudo de caso qualitativo procurou compreender a importância do brincar no recreio para o desenvolvimento da criança e entender como um grupo do Jardim de Infância imaginava o seu “recreio ideal”. Os dados obtidos através da observação participante, entrevista semiestruturada, análise de conteúdo e análise documental, permitiram verificar que o recreio ideal é imaginado com materiais móveis, estruturas fixas, elementos da natureza, jogos, atividades e brincadeiras, com diferentes áreas, um espaço onde existe maior liberdade dos movimentos. O espaço exterior apresenta ainda diversas potencialidades para o desenvolvimento da criança. Assim, é importante envolver as crianças na sua organização e proporcionar oportunidades para brincar fora de portas.

This report looks at the formative and investigative course carried out within the scope of the Master's Degree in Pre-School Education. It is divided into two parts, the first one, referring to the practice developed and experiences in the Day Care Center and the Kindergarten and another on the research component. The qualitative case study sought to understand the importance of playing in the playground for the development of the child and to understand how a group of kindergarten children imagined their "ideal playground". The data obtained through participant observation, semi-structured interview, content analysis and documentary analysis allowed to verify that the ideal recreation is imagined with moving materials, fixed structures, elements nature, games, activities and games, with different areas, a space where there is greater freedom of movement. The outer space also presents several potentialities for the development of the child. Thus, it is important to involve children in your organization and provide opportunities to play outside doors.
