A importância da música na educação pré-escolar

Abstract

O presente trabalho surge no âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar do Instituto Politécnico de Santarém. Inclui uma primeira parte que retrata as vivências da minha prática de ensino supervisionada em contexto de creche e de pré-escolar. A segunda parte, de natureza mais investigativa, centra-se na importância da música nas primeiras idades e na educação pré-escolar, procurando conhecer, através de questionário, a importância que os educadores atribuem à música no processo de formação das crianças, as suas representações em relação ao que deve ser o trabalho a desenvolver no jardim de infância ao nível da expressão musical e as dificuldades que sentem nesta área.

The following work was created within the scope of the Masters Degree in Pre-Scholar Education from the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém. It includes a first part that portrays the experience of my supervised practice in both nursery and pre-scholar context. The second part, of a more investigative character, focuses on the importance of music in early ages and pre-school education while, with resource to questionnaires, it tries to understand the importance that educators attribute to music in the process of tutoring children, their views in relation to what should the developed work regarding musical expression be in Preschool, and what difficulties they experience in this area.
