A relação entre a produção de estórias por crianças em idade pré-escolar e o desenvolvimento da linguagem

Abstract

Foi nossa intenção, ao longo deste trabalho, refletir acerca da prática pedagógica, no que diz respeito aos estágios realizados no âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar, os quais proporcionaram diversas aprendizagens em contexto de Creche e de Jardim de infância. O projeto de investigação versou sobre a relação entre a produção de estórias por crianças em idade pré-escolar e o desenvolvimento da linguagem. Para tal, recorremos a uma reflexão acerca da prática em contexto de Creche e de Jardim de infância, que nos forneceu pistas e dados para a pesquisa, sobretudo com a análise de um projeto que resultou na compilação de estórias elaboradas por um grupo de crianças entre os 4 e os 6 anos. Os dados obtidos através desta investigação permitiram constatar que as estórias produzidas por crianças em idade pré-escolar podem promover o desenvolvimento da linguagem.

Our aim, throughout this work, was to reflect on the pedagogical practice, with respect to the curricular stages undertaken within the Master's Degree in Pre-School Education, which provided various learning moments in the context of Crèche and Kindergarten. The research project focused on the relationship between the production of stories by pre-school children and the development of language. To accomplish this, we used a reflection about the practice in the context of crèche and kindergarten, which provided us with clues and data for the research, especially with the analysis of a project which resulted in the compilation of stories elaborated by a group of children between 4 and 6 years old. The data obtained through this research showed that the stories produced by preschool children can promote the development of language.
